New government with BJP backing would be formed?
Patna, 28 Jan (HS): On Sunday morning, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar presented his resignation to Governor Rajendra V Arlekar, authorities said. According to reports, the governor accepted Kumar’s resignation and requested him to serve as caretaker Chief Minister till a new government was constituted.
Kumar was joined by JD(U) senior minister Bijendra Yadav when he visited Raj Bhavan.
Kumar resigned after chairing a meeting with party legislators at his official house. According to reports, a new government with BJP backing would be formed by the evening.
