What is the Situation ? Unit submitted report of NEET Exam paper Leak case to the Center
Patna, June 22 (HS): Bihar’s Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) submitted its report in the NEET paper leak case to the union Education Ministry on Saturday. In this, a copy of the statements of 13 accused including four examinees arrested so far in this case has been given. Apart from this, after the information of paper leak on May 5, other documents including the admit card recovered in the raid and the copy of the remains of the burnt question paper will be given.
An EOU official said that the central government has been given full information about the investigation so far. From the copy of the burnt question paper of NEET recovered from the raid in Patna to the confession of the arrested accused, complete information has been given to the central government. The union Education Ministry can take a decision about the examination by reviewing this report. Apart from this, union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has called EOU ADG Nayyar Hasnain Khan to Delhi. He will review the NEET exam with ADG and top NTA official, which may be held on June 25.

EOU Submits Report on NEET UG Exam Paper Leak, Includes Statements and Evidence !
The EOU has stated in the report that the paper was leaked a day before the NEET UG exam held on May 5. The EOU has prepared a report based on the investigation till last Friday i.e. June 21, which it submitted to the Ministry of Education on Saturday. The EOU has also submitted a copy of the statements of 13 accused arrested in it, which includes NEET candidates. All of them are currently lodged in Beur Jail in Patna. Apart from this, other documents including admit cards recovered in the raid, copy of the remains of the burnt question paper have also been handed over to the Ministry of Education.
EOU’s Investigation Updates on NEET UG Paper Leak and Money Laundering Probe
On the other hand, the Economic Offenses Unit of Bihar Police, which is investigating the paper leak case, claimed on Saturday that it has obtained the reference question papers of the exam conducted by NTA. Also, it has planned to match them with the documents recovered from a flat in Patna during the search operation last month. State police sources said the EOU is also exploring the possibility of conducting narco analysis and brain mapping tests of some of the accused arrested in the case.
They also indicated that the Enforcement Directorate may probe the money laundering aspect of the alleged irregularities in the medical entrance exam-National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET-conducted by the National Testing Agency in May. Based on the EOU’s FIR, the Enforcement Directorate may investigate the case under relevant sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), an Economic Offences Unit source said. The central agency is expected to identify the proceeds of crime and initiate action to confiscate the properties of the accused or suspects.
