Delhi, 19 February (H.S): On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a visit to Uttar Pradesh, where he will lay the foundation stone for the Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal district and address a gathering.

The temple is being built by the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, whose chairman is Acharya Pramod Krishnam, who was expelled from the Congress for “anti-party remarks” days after meeting PM Modi and inviting him to lay the foundation stone. In a statement, Krishnam expressed pride that PM Modi will be laying the foundation for the temple. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. and will be attended by several saints, religious leaders, and dignitaries.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister will launch 14,000 projects in Uttar Pradesh worth more than Rs 10 lakh crore at the fourth ground-breaking event for investment proposals submitted during the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023. These projects are in various industries such as manufacturing, renewable energy, IT services, and education. The event will be attended by over 5,000 people including businessmen and representatives from prominent global and Indian businesses. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Industry Minister Nand Gopal Gupta will also be present at the ceremony.

Additionally, investment plans worth Rs 1.57 lakh crore will be implemented in eight aspirational districts in Uttar Pradesh. The aspirational districts plan was initiated by PM Modi in January 2018 to bring development to economically backward regions of India.
