Marching Towards Victory: Congress CWC to Finalize
Delhi, 19 March (H.S): The Congress Working Committee (CWC) is set to discuss and give final shape to the party’s manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in a meeting on March 19. This will be followed by a meeting of the central election committee, chaired by party chief Mallikarjun Kharge, on March 19 and 20 to finalize the remaining candidates for the seven-phase polls starting from April 19.
AICC general secretary Jairam Ramesh has stated that the party will fight the elections on five key issues of ‘nyay’ or justice, with 25 guarantees, five for each issue. The Congress is also set to announce its candidates for the remaining 18 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday after a CEC meeting chaired by Kharge.
