Delhi, 16 February (H.S): Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of an All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Haryana’s Rewari on Friday, under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana. This new healthcare hub is set to offer a range of essential services to the people of Haryana and is expected to become a prominent facility in the state.
In his address to the public, Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude for their support and highlighted India’s achievements, including becoming the fifth-largest economy in the world. The Prime Minister is also set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects in the state, worth over Rs 9,750 crore.
The AIIMS Rewari complex will have 720 beds, a medical college, a nursing college, and an AYUSH block catering to alternative medicine needs. The campus will also provide residential accommodation and hostel facilities for students, as well as other amenities for patients and visitors.
With 18 specialities and 17 super specialities, including cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, and oncology, AIIMS-Rewari aims to provide comprehensive and high-quality healthcare services to meet the diverse needs of the people.
