Delhi, 16 February (H.S): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that he will be seeking a vote of confidence in the Assembly today (February 16), just days after alleging that the BJP attempted to poach AAP MLAs in an effort to topple his government.
In a post on social media platform X in Hindi, Kejriwal stated that he will be bringing the vote of confidence to the Assembly and is determined to prove his government’s majority. The announcement comes amidst political turmoil and chaos in Delhi, with a fire breaking out in a building in Shahdara leading to one fatality, and an IIT Delhi student being found hanging in their hostel room.
Kejriwal also visited the site of the Alipur fire tragedy and announced compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the victims. This move by Kejriwal shows his strong resolve and determination to continue leading Delhi, despite facing setbacks and challenges. His actions not only showcase his commitment to serving the people of Delhi but also seek to bring stability and unity amidst the current political climate.
