Delhi, 14 March (H.S): Prime Minister #NarendraModi is scheduled to hold a roadshow in Hyderabad on Friday and address rallies for the #BharatiyaJanataParty (BJP) in Telangana on March 16 and March 18, in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The roadshow is expected to last for an hour, starting from Mirjaguda and ending at Malkajgiri, according to sources from the Telangana BJP. PM Modi will also address public meetings in Nagarkurnool on March 16 and Jagityal on March 18.
This follows his recent visit to Hyderabad where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development projects in Adilabad. In addition, union Home Minister #AmitShah visited Hyderabad on Tuesday to address a meeting of BJP polling booth workers at the LB Stadium.
With the Lok Sabha polls approaching, the #BJP is determined to increase its seat share in Telangana. On the other hand, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of Telangana’s main opposition party Congress expressed confidence in winning 14 out of 17 Lok Sabha seats in the state. He also stated that these elections would serve as a referendum for his government.
Meanwhile, the #BharatRashtraSamithi (BRS), which was unable to form a government in Telangana after the recent Assembly polls, is making every effort to make a comeback after the Lok Sabha polls. With intense campaigning by all parties, it will be interesting to see how the political landscape of Telangana changes after the #LokSabhapolls.
