Azamgarh, 10 March (HS): During his visit to Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated and laid the groundwork for 15 airport developments, including 12 new terminal buildings. The prime minister was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other BJP officials on his visit to the district’s Manduri sector. union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia told reporters that it was the first time in 75 years that 16 airports were opened or foundation stones were laid on the same day.
PM Modi stated that after launching multi-crore projects, Azamgarh, which was formerly considered one of the country’s backward places, is now writing a new chapter in the country’s growth. I am running the country at full speed to fulfill India’s goal of becoming developed by 2047.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the people of Azamgarh are really fortunate that PM Modi has visited them today. He stated, “Ten years ago, we all knew what Azamgarh was famous for. Under past regimes, it served as a hub for crime and mafia activity. However, Prime Minister Modi arrived in Azamgarh today to launch a number of development projects.?
PM Modi launched many airport projects today, including Pune, Kolhapur, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Delhi, Lucknow, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot, Moradabad, Shravasti, and Adampur and new airport terminals at Kadapa Airport, Hubballi and Belagavi airports
During a public event on Sunday, the Prime Minister lay the groundwork for Rs 42,000 crore in development projects in Uttar Pradesh. According to a government release, if completed, three new terminals would increase overall passenger capacity to 95 lakh per year. 12 new terminals would handle 620 lakh people yearly. In addition to cutting-edge passenger comforts, these terminals have ecologically beneficial elements such as LED lighting, energy-efficient canopies, and insulated roofing systems. Designs are influenced by local heritage and represent the culture and history of the state or city.
Later, about 2:15 PM, he would arrive in Varanasi to distribute the first installment of the Mahatari Vandana Yojana to Chhattisgarh via video conference. The Prime Minister also opened the Maharaja Suhel Dev State University in Azamgarh, which cost 108 crore. He inaugurated and laid the groundwork for five major national highway projects totaling Rs 11,500 crore.
