Varanasi, 10 March (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday, a day after visiting the Kashi Vishwanath temple here, that giving prayers at the historic shrine brings him immense happiness. Modi also posted on X a video of his Saturday visit to the shrine. In the footage, he is seen participating in a puja at the temple.
“Offering prayers at the vast and heavenly Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi usually brings immense happiness to the mind. I prayed to Baba Vishwanath for the happiness, prosperity, and health of my family members throughout the country. Har Har Mahadev,” he said in his Hindi message.
On Saturday, Modi arrived in his parliamentary constituency to a resounding greeting, only days after the BJP fielded him for the third time. He also organized a 28-kilometer-long roadshow here. On Sunday, the prime minister would leave for Azamgarh from the Bareka helipad around 10 a.m. and return around 2 p.m. He will thereafter depart for New Delhi from Babatpur Airport.
