New Delhi, 9 June (HS): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi on Sunday over the NEET-UG medical entrance test controversy, claiming that suspected anomalies in the exam had destroyed more than 24 lakh students even before he takes oath for a third term in office. Gandhi pledged students around the country that he would be their voice in Parliament, raising topics important to their future. Following claims of mark inflation in the NEET-UG medical entrance test, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said on Saturday that the education ministry has formed a four-member panel to investigate the grace marks issued to over 1,500 applicants.

Gandhi noted in a Hindi post on X that Narendra Modi has yet to take oath, and that anomalies in the NEET test have destroyed over 24 lakh students and their families. Six students from a single exam center received maximum scores, while many others received results that are theoretically impossible, but the administration has always denied the idea of a paper leak, according to the former Congress head.
