Delhi, 8 March (H.S): Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is set to launch a national cooperative database on Friday in order to promote a cooperative-centric economic model. This initiative is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Sahakar se Samriddhi’ and is seen as another important step towards achieving it. The cooperation ministry has recognized the importance of having a robust database to gather crucial information about the vast cooperative sector in India.
In addition to launching the database, Shah will also release a report titled ‘National Cooperative Database 2023’, showcasing the progress and potential of the cooperative sector. This initiative has been developed through collaboration with state governments, national federations, and other stakeholders, highlighting the government’s commitment towards promoting and strengthening the cooperative model in India.
With this database, it is hoped that a cooperative-centric economic model will be fostered, leading to an inclusive and sustainable growth for all.
