Delhi, 7 February (H.S): On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be responding to the Motion of Thanks to President Droupadi Murmu’s address in the Rajya Sabha. This comes after the Prime Minister’s response to the Motion of Thanks in Lok Sabha earlier this week, where he launched an aggressive attack on the opposition party, Congress. He confidently stated that BJP will win at least 370 seats and NDA will cross the 400-mark in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
PM Modi also highlighted the cancel culture of Congress and promised that India will become the third largest economy in the world during his third term as Prime Minister. In addition, the government has decided to extend the ongoing session of Parliament by a day to bring a white paper on the state of economy during the 10 years of UPA government.
This is a rare occasion where both Houses will function on a weekend, and it is the last session before the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. In her Interim Budget speech, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced that a white paper would be released comparing the state of economy before and after 2014, showcasing the growth and development under PM Modi’s leadership.
