Prime Minister Modi to Initiate Development Projects Worth Rs 19,600 Crore in Odisha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation for a slew of development initiatives totaling over Rs 19,600 crore in Jajpur district, Odisha, on Tuesday. His agenda includes launching a variety of projects across the Oil and Gas, Railways, Road, Transport & Highways, and Atomic Energy sectors. Key infrastructure enhancements include the four-laning of highways and a new rail line aimed at boosting iron and manganese ore transportation. Modi will also commence the construction of facilities for electric loco and wagon periodic overhauling, alongside a seawater desalination plant, aimed at economic growth and betterment of Odisha’s populace.
