India Raises Alarm at UNGA Over Civilian Casualties in Gaza Conflict

At the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, India voiced its grave concerns regarding the extensive casualties in the Israel-Hamas conflict, particularly highlighting the significant loss of women and children’s lives. The Indian delegation, led by permanent member Ruchira Kamboj, emphasized the unacceptable nature of civilian casualties.

During a press briefing, Kamboj articulated India’s stance, advocating for a peaceful resolution through dialogue and negotiations. India urges for the release of all hostages to avert further escalations and insists on adherence to international and humanitarian laws, strongly condemning the civilian losses in the conflict.
