New Delhi, 03 March (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted animal lovers on World Wildlife Day. He said this day is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible diversity of creatures on “our planet and reiterate our commitment towards protecting them”.

The Prime Minister posted on Instagram, “Greetings to all animal lovers on World Wildlife Day. Today is a day to protect our planet. But this is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible diversity of life and reiterate our commitment to their protection. I commend all those who are at the forefront of continuing efforts for wildlife conservation and are fully supporting it.”

In a message, Home Minister Amit Shah said the Modi government is working to protect wildlife to build a sustainable world for the next generation. The day also called for strengthening India’s resolve to enhance its global role in wildlife conservation. May this opportunity inspire us to create a better and safer world for all beings.
