Mumbai, 1 March (H.S): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra has been making its way through various states in India, and is now set to reach Maharashtra’s Nandurbar district on March 10. According to local party functionaries, the yatra will cover several cities in the state, including Dhule, Malegaon, Nashik, and Bhiwandi. During his visit, Gandhi will also offer prayers at the Kalaram temple dedicated to Lord Ram and the Trimbakeshwar temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The yatra is part of Gandhi’s efforts to connect with the people and understand their issues, while also spreading the message of “nyay” or justice. After the rally in Mumbai, the yatra will continue its journey through 15 states, covering a total distance of 6,700 kilometres from Manipur to Mumbai.
The yatra had taken a brief break from February 26 to March 1 to allow Gandhi to deliver lectures at his alma mater, Cambridge University, and attend important meetings in New Delhi. It will then resume on March 2 from Rajasthan’s Dholpur and enter Madhya Pradesh on the same day. The overall goal of the yatra is to reach out to people from different regions and communities of India, with the aim of understanding their concerns and addressing them.
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra has garnered significant attention and support from party members and citizens alike. By visiting different cities and offering prayers at important temples, Gandhi is not only connecting with people but also showcasing the Congress party’s commitment towards inclusive politics.
