Jammu, 12 November (H.S): Sharing various path breaking steps of the union Government under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for bringing the rural and far-flung areas at par with the Urban areas in matter of basic amenities, BJP senior leader and former MLA, Ashwani Sharma, said that there is a visible change in the lives of rural people.
He was interacting with the people, during his weekly public darbar at BJP Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
Ashwani along with BJP Health & Medical Cell convenor, Puneet Mahajan, was apprised of the problems by a large number of people and various deputations who had reached party office to seek intervention of the former MLA in getting their problems resolved. Their problems were taken up with the senior officials of the concerned departments for proper and early redressal.
Ashwani said that today there has been vast change in the lives of the people in villages as they too are getting the basic amenities and their areas have got a facelift. He said that the people, in the past during the rule of Congress and other parties were deprived of the basic facilities and there was a big gap between the Urban and Rural areas in various fields.
Today rural population, particularly the people in villages are getting water through tap, almost every village connected with the major towns and cities through proper road network, better healthcare infrastructure has been established in Government dispensaries, Sub-District Hospitals, schools have been upgraded, the farmers are getting fertilizers, pesticides on time and financial assistance under PM Kissan Samman Nidhi etc.
