Ayodhya, 31 Jan (HS): 350 Muslim worshipers completed a six-day foot march from Lucknow to Ayodhya, where they paid their respects at the Ram Temple. The Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), an RSS-backed Muslim organisation, led the delegation, which began their trek from Lucknow on January 25, according to Shahid Saeed, MRM’s media in-charge.
The group of 350 Muslim devotees arrived at Ayodhya on Tuesday after walking over 150 kilometers in the bitter cold, chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’, he claimed.
He stated that they stopped every 25 kilometers for relaxation at night and resumed their trek the next morning. Saeed added that after six days, devotees with worn-out shoes and exhausted feet arrived in Ayodhya and paid their respects to the freshly dedicated Ram Lalla statue.
“The devotees considered this dignified darshan of Imam-e-Hind Ram as an enduring and cherished memory,” he added, adding that the Muslim worshipers’ actions sent a message of unity, integrity, sovereignty, and peace. After the darshan, MRM convener Raja Raees and provincial coordinator Sher Ali Khan, who led the gathering, stated that Lord Ram is everyone’s ancestor. Raees and Khan emphasized that love for nation and humanity trumps religion, caste, and creed. They emphasized that no religion preaches criticism, mocking, or hostility against others.
