How to reach: Kanheri Caves are located in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park in the western outskirts of Mumbai. The nearest railway station is Borivali, which is located on the Western line of the Mumbai suburban railway. From the railway station, visitors can take a taxi or a bus to the national park. The caves are located around 7 km from the park entrance and can be reached by foot or by a bus that operates within the park.

The weather during this time is pleasant and cool, making it ideal for exploring the caves. It is advisable to visit the caves early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid the crowds and the heat.
