Islamabad, 29 Feb (HS): Even as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is ready to assume power in Pakistan, the party leader Nawaz Sharif warned the party workers that the next two years will be challenging for the party. PML-N had to take the support of the Pakistan People?s Party (PPP) to regain power.
Nawaz Sharif who is popularly called Senior Sharif, addressed the legislative party in the presence of Shehbaz Sharif. According to the newspaper Dawn, Senior Sharif assured that Shehbaz will relieve the people of all major problems. Improving the economy and stabilising the political situation are the major challenges confronting Pakistan. After two years the government will have many opportunities for development and welfare of people. He also announced that Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq is the candidate for the National Assembly Speaker?s post. Shehbaz faced several challenges during his 16-month tenure. He criticized Imran Khan for spreading hate politics and misleading the youth.
Nawaz listed achievements of Shehbaz during his address, which included regulating the power supply and network of motor-way in the country. Three independent candidates joined PML-N to increase its strength to 104, he said.
