How to control China ?
Washington, January 11 (HS): America and Japan will discuss on January 12 how to curb China’s aggression and expansionist policy. The Pentagon said on Tuesday that the foreign and defense ministers of the two countries will discuss and formulate a strategy at the 2023 US-Japan Security Advisory Committee meeting.
Pentagon Press Secretary General Pat Ryder said the leaders of the two countries will discuss a shared vision of a modern alliance to address 21st century challenges in the Indo-Pacific and around the world. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Foreign Minister Antony Blinken will hold meetings with their Japanese counterparts Defense Minister Hamada Yasukazu and Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa.

The press secretary said that the United States stands firm in its position. Japan is one of the most reliable partners in the region. The US-Japan alliance is a cornerstone of Indo-Pacific security. The issue will be discussed in detail at the fifth Indo-Pacific Business Forum on January 12 with the governments of the United States and Japan.
