Indore, 09 January (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said the world listens to India; it has a large number of capable youth. India’s youth have skills, values and also have the necessary passion and honesty to work, he added.
Today India has the potential to become a skill capital, this skill of India can become the engine of development of the world, Modi said addressing the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan in Indore on Monday.
After four years, this conference is being held with its original form and grandeur, there is a different joy and importance in meeting the loved ones face to face. He told the NRIs that there is a lot of water, forest, tribal tradition of Maa Narmada in MP which will make your visit unforgettable. He said that the grand Mahakal Lok has also expanded in Ujjain, and urged them go there and take the blessings of Mahakal.

During this, he praised Indore wholeheartedly. He said that Indore is wonderful and people say that Indore is a skill city, but he says that Indore is an era, which goes ahead of time. The taste of Indori Namkeen, Sabudana Khichdi, Kachori, Samosas, Shikanji… whoever sees, their mouths water, he added. The ones who tastes them do not look anywhere else. Not only are the 56 shops here famous, but bullion here is also important. He added that this is the reason why people call Indore the capital of taste along with cleanliness and skilled people. He said that they will not forget the experiences.
The Prime Minister said that when he sees the overseas skilled Indians, many pictures emerge simultaneously. When the people of India look like a common factor in so many different countries of the world, then the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” is visible, he said.
When people from different provinces, different regions meet in any one country of the world, there is a pleasant feeling of “One India, Great India”, Modi said. When the most peace-loving, democratic and disciplined citizens are discussed in different countries of the world, Indian pride of being the Mother of Democracy increases further, he added. When the world assesses the contribution of these overseas Indians, it also hears the voice of a strong and capable India.
He said that today India’s voice, India’s message, India’s words have a different significance on the global stage. This growing power of India is going to increase further in the coming days, he said that this year India is also presiding over the G-20 group of the world. India is seeing this responsibility as a big opportunity, he said that this is an opportunity for us to tell the world about India. ?We have to make G-20 not just a diplomatic event, but a historic event of people’s participation.?
Earlier, when Prime Minister Modi reached the stage at the Grand Hall of the venue Brilliant Convention Centre, the hall echoed with slogans of Modi-Modi. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, President of Guyana Mohammed Irfan Ali and President of Suriname Chandrika Prasad Santokhi also addressed the gathering of overseas Indians.
