New Delhi, March 27 (HS): China stayed away from the G-20 meeting held on Sunday in Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. However, there was a significant presence of representatives of other countries in this meeting in which more than 50 delegates, including the US, participated in the meeting related to the G-20 Research Innovation Initiative. These representatives also visited the Vidhansabha.
Regarding China’s non-participation in the G-20 meeting, it is being said that China has been claiming Arunachal Pradesh and considers it a part of Southern Tibet.
Although China has so far been supporting India’s G-20 presidency. Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Geng also visited India earlier this month for a meeting of foreign ministers.
