Nitesh Rane was at his aggressive best while interacting with media on 11 May, while he was campaigning for Palghar’s BJP candidate Dr. Hemant Vishnu Savara. Without mincing his words he made it clear that Palgahar will witness development only if BJP candidate is elected. Any other candidate elected will keep begging for funds required for development. He also touch based on the topic of fatwa being issued favouring Congress candidates and stressed that this was the time for the Hindus to show their strength. Taking factual examples from what all was happening around the country he said that vote for INDI Alliance was vote for Love Jihad and Land Jihad. “Your properties would be taken away by the WAQF board”, he said!
Awareness Campaign in Karnataka
When questioned that a lot of tribal dominated areas do not have access to proper roads and medical facilities, inspite of having NDA candidate, he humbly accepted that no party can claim 100% development in 5 years and even his assembly constituency had development work’s pending. But he didn’t let go this opportunity to mention that one more terms of 5 years and the BJP would complete the pending development activities. Nitesh created an awareness campaign for the plight of Hind’s in Karnataka stating that Hindus are not allowed to function freely when it comes to religion. While addressing the question on Fatwa’s been issued, he was clear that the Hindus should show their strength and vote for BJP.
Nana Patole’s Statement and Response
“Nana Patole has forgotten that he is a Hindu and these were the people who questioned the very existence of Lord Ram”, is what he said when he was asked to comment on Patole’s statement of cleaning the Ram Mandir, once they come to power.
