When asked about approaching parties like JDU and TDP for government formation, Rahul Gandhi stated that they will discuss it with their allies first and act accordingly. With the BJP falling short of the magic figure of 272 but still securing a majority through its alliance, the INDIA bloc has put up a strong fight with the Congress winning close to double of its 2019 tally. Kharge also mentioned that without discussing with alliance partners and potential new partners, it is premature to say anything about government formation strategies.
