What Happened ? Manipur Police Arrest Two KCP-CM Militants
Imphal, May 30 (HS): Along with the recovery of arms and ammunition in Manipur, the process of arresting militants is also continuing. In this connection, two cadres of KCP (CM) organization were caught in the operation of security forces. Manipur Police on Thursday said that the two active cadres of KCP (CM) organization arrested by the police from Thoubal district have been identified as Lairenlakpam Thoiba alias Sangjaoba Meitei (48) and Singam Kabikant alias Thoiba Meitei (32).
Two 9 mm pistols with magazines, 15 live cartridges with magazines, two mobile phones, a four-wheeler and some objectionable items were recovered from them. A case has been registered for further investigation. Security forces are conducting raids across the state to nab people involved in militant activities.
