What Happened ? Arms and Ammunition Recovery Operation caught by Manipur Police
Imphal, 30 May (HS): The recovery of arms and ammunition continues in Manipur. In this connection, a huge quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered in the operation of joint security forces.
Manipur Police said on Thursday that search operations and area domination were carried out by the security forces in the border and sensitive areas of the hill and valley districts. During this, one SMG carbine, one 9 mm pistol, one DBBL, six HE-36 hand grenades, four tube launchers, two SLR magazines, 58 live rounds, four 12 bore cartridges, two walkie talkies with charger, one tear smoke shell (soft nose) and one stun shell (anti-riot) were recovered from Guarok Ching in Thoubal district. Raids are being conducted by the security forces across the state.
