Mumbai, November 28 (HS): The Pune Police team has arrested an employee of Sassoon Hospital in the drug mafia Lalit Patil case. Sassoon Hospital employee Mahendra Savete is accused of helping Lalit Patil escape from the hospital.
According to the police, drug mafia member Lalit Patil absconded during treatment at Sassoon Hospital. After this, the Mumbai Police team arrested Lalit Patil from a hotel in Chennai. After a thorough investigation, a big drug syndicate has come to light.
Police say that Mahendra Shwete was close to drug mafia leader Lalit Patil and used to manage his drug syndicate. At present, the police are thoroughly interrogating Mahendra Savete. The staff of Sassoon Hospital is also being interrogated in this matter.
