Islamabad, 17 June (HS): Four civilians were killed in an explosion in Pakistan on the eve of Eid-Ul-Azha on Sunday evening. In another incident, Security forces eliminated five terrorists. According to the newspaper Dawn, the explosion occurred on the side of a road in the Central Kurram region using an Improvised Explosive Device. The blast was carried out when a passenger bus was crossing the road. Most passengers were going to the market to buy animals for the sacrifice on Eid. Four people were killed and two others were injured.

ARY News Channel reported that five terrorists were killed on Sunday by the security forces in the Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. Inter-Services Public Relations Pakistan officials said that the terrorists were involved in killing civilians. The security personnel recovered arms, bullets, and explosives.
