Badaun, 13 Nov (HS): A woman riding a bike died after being hit by a speeding car on Badaun Delhi Highway in Zarifnagar police station area on Monday. Two people were slightly injured. The police have taken possession of the woman’s body and sent it for post-mortem and have started investigating the case. The accident happened near Gupta Dhaba located on Delhi-Badaun Highway in Zarifnagar police station area. Here, bike riders Dilshad, Hasina and Shahin, residents of village Radnaul Ajitpur, were going to Dahgawan market in noon. As soon as his bike moved from the village road towards the highway, it was hit by a speeding car. All three people riding on the bike were injured when the car collided. Cops from Zarifnagar police station reached the spot and sent the injured to the district hospital with the help of 108 ambulance, where Doctor Pradeep Aggarwal declared Shahin dead, while Dilshad and Haseena were injured. There was chaos in the family after Shahin’s death. Police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Zarifnagar police station incharge Rakesh Kumar said that a woman riding a bike has died in a road accident. ?It is not yet clear what caused the accident. Although some people are saying a car had hit the bike. On the basis of whatever complaint the family members give, a case will be registered and further action will be taken,? he added.
