North 24 Parganas, December 11 (HS): At least three persons, including two women, were killed and six others injured in a road accident that occured at Khardah of North 24 Parganas district in West Bengal on Monday morning.
According to police and local sources, on Monday, six women were returning from Kanchrapara to Ghola Murgacha in an SUV. As soon as the SUV crossed the bridge, it collided with a dumper. According to eyewitnesses, the front part of the SUV was bent in such a way that it was difficult to take out the passengers trapped in it.
Later, the police came and broke the door and took out those trapped in the vehicle. In this incident, two women including the driver died on the spot. The remaining six were taken to Kolkata.
