In a significant move towards enhancing the development of Maharashtra’s Yavatmal district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate and launch a series of development projects in a grand public event on Wednesday. The ceremony, planned to take place in Bhari, on the periphery of Yavatmal city, is poised to mark the unveiling of benefits under the PM KISAN scheme among others, as well as the inauguration of a statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya within the city limits. In a notable gesture, the Prime Minister will also release the 16th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), amounting to over Rs 21,000 crore directly to the accounts of the beneficiaries, underlining the government’s initiative to empower the agricultural sector and propel regional development.
