Harishankar Jain, a lawyer representing the Hindu community, has expressed his approval of the Allahabad High Court’s decision to permit Hindu prayers in the cellar of the Gyanvapi mosque. Jain remarked, “The honourable high court’s decision is heartily welcomed,” noting that the verdict was just, as Hindu worship practices at the Jayat-e-Shaykhana site had been unjustly ceased in 1993 without any formal directive. He acknowledged that the Muslim community might seek to challenge this decision in the Supreme Court, but assured that he and his team are prepared to respond to any legal actions taken.
