Lucknow, 21 February (HS): Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said on Wednesday that there is a stampede-like scenario in Uttar Pradesh’s opposition parties, with SP, BSP, and Congress people flocking to the BJP.
Addressing reporters with colleague Deputy leader Minister Brajesh Pathak and BJP’s Uttar Pradesh unit leader Bhupendra Chaudhary, Maurya stated that workers from opposition parties are joining the BJP, drawn by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s social packages for all parts of society. ‘Many leaders from the Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, and Congress joined the BJP today (Wednesday),’ he added.
‘A stampede-like scenario is being observed in the Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, and Congress as individuals from these parties join the BJP,’ he added. Maurya said that the BJP will win all 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.
