Delhi, 20 February (H.S): The highly anticipated visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jammu is expected to bring about major development and progress for the region.
The Prime Minister’s itinerary includes launching multiple projects worth Rs 32,000 crore, distributing appointment orders to new government recruits, and interacting with beneficiaries of government schemes. The highlight of the visit will be the inauguration of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Vijaypur and the laying of the foundation stone for a new terminal building at Jammu Airport. In addition, the Prime Minister will dedicate various rail projects, including a new rail line and an electrified section in Jammu and Kashmir.
These projects will improve connectivity and promote economic development in the region, while also ensuring environmental sustainability. Furthermore, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for important road projects that will enhance connectivity and ease transportation for the people of Jammu.
