Delhi, 15 February (H.S): From ?doubling the farmer?s income? to ?bring back black money?, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a fresh attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for failing to fulfill his promises. Gandhi accused the PM of not providing 2 crore jobs to the youths in the country every year.
This attack comes at a time when farmer unions are protesting in Delhi, demanding the government to fulfill their promises, including legislation for Minimum Support Price on their crops. Gandhi pointed out several unfulfilled promises made by Modi, such as bringing back black money, reducing inflation, and depositing Rs 15 lakh in every citizen’s account.
The Congress leader also criticized the BJP government for not ensuring women’s safety, developing 100 smart cities, and strengthening the rupee. He claimed that the PM has been deceiving the country with false dreams for the last 10 years. Gandhi is currently on a Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, and he alleged that the BJP government is synonymous with lies and injustice.
The Nyay Yatra is passing through Bihar, which recently saw CM Nitish Kumar joining hands with the BJP again after breaking away from the opposition coalition.
