Assam Rifles recovers arms, ammunition in Manipur

Imphal, December, 11 (HS): Assam Rifles recovered arms, ammunition and war like goods in Manipur on Monday.

According to Assam Rifles, along with Army, CRPF and Manipur Police, the force recovered one CMG, four hand grenades, four Chinese grenades, one stun and tear grenades each, one 09 mm pistol, one locally made pistol, six shot gun shells, one STN and tear grenades in village Salam Patong in the general area of Thoubal district of Manipur. The team also recovered a heavy caliber ammunition and a launching tube of the SLR operation.
