Delhi, 7 December (H.S): Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted with a standing ovation and ‘Modi ji ka swagat’ chants as he arrived at the first meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party in Parliament’s Winter Session in Delhi.
This rousing welcome comes after the Bhartiya Janta Party resounding victory in the recently concluded state assembly elections, where they regained power in Madhya Pradesh for the fourth term and surpassed Congress governments in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.
The Prime Minister was felicitated by party chief J P Nadda, while other MPs raised slogans praising his leadership. In the meeting, PM Modi shared an interesting fact about the BJP’s track record of success in state-level elections, emphasizing the party’s strength and growth.
He also emphasized the importance of working towards the development of women, youth, farmers and the poor. This success has been largely attributed to PM Modi’s leadership, even in states where the BJP did not win. The party’s parliamentary meeting is held every week during Parliament sessions and serves as a platform for discussing important issues and strategies.
