Delhi, 2 December (H.S) : As cyclone ‘Michaung’ continues to gain strength in the Bay of Bengal, the northern coast of Tamil Nadu and the southern coast of Andhra Pradesh are bracing for its impact.

The cyclone, currently classified as a depression, is expected to intensify into a cyclonic storm and make landfall on December 3 evening.

This has raised concerns among residents and authorities in these states as heavy rainfall and strong winds are predicted to hit the coastal areas on December 3.

Ms. Sunanda, the Managing Director of the Visakhapatnam Cyclone Warning Centre, has advised people to take necessary precautions and be prepared for the potential impact of the cyclone. The situation is being closely monitored by meteorological departments in both states and efforts are being made to minimize any potential damage caused by the cyclone.

As December 3 approaches, people living in these regions are advised to stay informed and follow safety measures to ensure their well-being.
