Chandigarh, November 28 (HS): The borfer security force (BSF) fired on the intruding drone from Pakistan area and drove it back. The BSF later conducted a precautionary search operation.
According to BSF, on Monday night, a 27-battalion team deployed at BOP Sadhanwali under the Gurdaspur sector saw a drone on the Indian border, after which BSF opened fire. After this, the sound of the drone stopped. It is feared that the drone either returned to the Pakistani or crashed somewhere on the Indian border.
On this basis, BSF also conducted a search operation in the border area on Tuesday morning. According to sources, BSF had not received the drone. BSF has caught 13 Pakistani drones entering the Indian border within the last 15 days.
