Patiala, 22 May (HS): A day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Patiala, a Khalistani flag was found on a building at a short distance from the rally venue, on which Khalistani slogan was also written. The police have not registered any case yet. However, the security of the rally site has been further increased. US-based Khalistani fundamentalist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has taken the responsibility of hoisting the Khalistani flag.

Modi is to address an election rally in Patiala on Thursday. This flag was installed in an under construction building on Mini Secretariat Road. This building belongs to Bharat Inder Singh Chahal, who was the media advisor to former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. The slogan of Khalistan was written on the bridge of the old bus stand. Passersby saw this and informed the police.

After this, a video of terrorist Pannu has also gone viral, in which terrorist Pannu has said that local Khalistani supporters will target Modi when he comes to Punjab. Modi is responsible for the murder of thousands of Sikh farmers and Nijjars. Pannu said in the video that Khalistani supporters have received complete information about Modi’s visit and route plan in Punjab from the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab.

Patiala Range DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar said that the viral video on social media is being investigated. With the capture of the flag, security at the rally site has been increased.
