Dehradun, 17 April (HS): Make loans available to 25k street vendors Uttarakhand Chief Secretary gave instructions to complete the target of providing loans to 25,000 street vendors of the state under the PM Swanidhi Yojana within the stipulated time.
Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu reviewed the progress of PM Swanidhi Yojana. During this, the Chief Secretary said that the scheme should be widely publicized to encourage more and more vendors. The work of documentation etc. should be completed by organizing camps in the areas.
The Chief Secretary also instructed the SLBC to dispose of the rejected applications to the banks expeditiously and said that after depositing 10 thousand of the first part by the bank vendor, there should be no delay in accepting the applications of 20,000 and 50,000 of the second and third part.
Secretary Deependra Kumar Chowdhary, Additional Secretary Urban Development Navneet Pandey, and other officers were present on the occasion.
